Dear Kay and Family,
Our deepest sympathy. Stan was a very special person. We enjoyed spending time with him at family functions. He had a great smile and we will remember him warmly. He will truly be missed but you have great memories of him that will stay with you always.

Kay and Family
Words do little at a time like this, but memories may soften the loss. Stan's parents (Stan and Molly, "Mr. and Mrs Derby"), Kay's Mom (Aunt Kathleen), My Mom and Dad (Al and Nancy), Stan himself, the woman he would marry (my first cousin Kay), Kay's beloved brother (JohnFitz), Stan's brother Tommy, and the five Burke children (JohnBurke, Sheila, Kevin, Gerry and me) were a true extended family beyond the understanding of most today. Stan's character may be best represented by the fact that his boyhood best friends, JohnBurke, Tommy Levis and Brian German were still his closest friends at his passing. His love of his wife, children, children's spouses and grandchildren are a testiment to them and the character Stan instilled in them.
Stan was a friend, husband, father , grandfather and, most of all, a "man's man" His service to his family and country will never be forgotten. God rest you my friend.
