Beatty Florence W. On Dec. 28, 2008 at age 76. Retired Capt. U.S. Navy Medical Nurse. Born in Bklyn NY and raised in Woodside Queens NY.Beloved daughter of the late William & Florence Beatty. Sister of William & Laurette, Robert & Theresa , John & the late James.Also survived by nieces & nephews and grand nieces & grand nephews.She was a graduate of St. John's Hospital LIC Nursing School, North East Illinois Univ. & recieved her Masters degree from Eisenhower College Chicago ILL. Florence was a dedicated nurse, daughter, sister & friend. She served proudly for 26 years in the US Navy & was decorated for her service in Da Nang Vietnam during & following the TET Offenive. Visitation at the Weigand Bros FHMon. & Tues. 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Wed. 10 AM St. Aidan's Church. Interment Holy Rood Cem.
