Ro was strong, indomitable, giving, and kind. Her family was always No. 1 in all she did. She selflessly helped Matthew's school, Hofstra University as the Family Weekend Chair on the Parent and Family Council. Ro gave countless hours to help with our raffle and creation of baskets. And all of it during her illness and with a warm smile. We will always remember Ro. We miss her.

Ro and I became friends when she was diagnosed with MS she was one of my favorite patients. Thru the years we got to know each other on personal level, we were true friends. She was there for me when my husband passed. I was there when she was diagnosed with giloblastoma. I got to help her and be her sounding board. Even when I moved to PA we stayed in touch, she was so proud of her boys they kept her alive. I believe she is in a better place and she is in heaven watching over us. Love you and will miss you terribly. RIP my forever friend

I will treasure the numerous memories I have spent with Ro on the baseball field, football field and wresting mat cheering on our boys. Plenty of wrestling tournaments feeding numerous people but also sharing alot of laughs. Ro will be truly missed by many but I am blessed to have known her and called her a friend. Rest in Peace Ro xo

My heart is heavy in learning of the passing of Ro~such an inspirational woman. You would never known Ro was dealing with so much in her life for she gave of herself so unselfishly~whether it was through PTA, the Herricks Wrestling Team, Boy Scouts Troop 201, Naval Academy Parents Association. She pushed through with her beautiful smile and determination. Our community has truly lost one of the most devoted women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. May she Rest in Eternal Peace. Prayers to Rob, Anthony & Ilana & Matthew and all who loved her.

It was an honor to work side by side as Co Presidents of the High School PTA a roll she got thrown into the last
Possible second She was selfless kind generous and a pleasure to work with Her knowledge was never ending and her ability to do it all while taking care of her family and health was astonishing She’d say “we’ve got this Co!” I’m am glad we got to work together so closely and become friends I will miss her positive outlook on life the most! May she rest in peace and be pain free at last

What a wise and compassionate person Ro was. It was a privilege to get to know her through her work at the District PTA on behalf of all of the children and families of Herricks. Her memory will be a blessing.

It’s hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember." —Unknown.
Rosemarie was a special person, who willingly gave of herself to the families of Hofstra and to her friends. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Someone like Ro, is so special she can never be forgotten.
