Obituary of Lilia C. Acampado

On June 19, 2022, Lilia C. Acampado passed away at the age of 78 in New Hyde Park, NY.  Lilia was born on August 18, 1943 in Dagupan City, Philippines.  Lilia attended and graduated from the University of the East (Philippines) where she received a degree in Accounting. Lilia then met the love of her life, Dr. Edsel E.  Acampado,  DVM, and the pair married on April 6, 1970.  Lilia immigrated to the United States in 1970 to pursue a better life and assist her parents and siblings back in the Philippines.  Lilia resided in the United States with her husband, children, and her siblings until her death.  Lilia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edsel, on October 7, 1985.  Lilia is the loving mother of two children, Lizel (Jason) and Edsel Jr. (Karen).  Lilia is the cherished grandmother of Justin, Julie. Jack, and Oliver.  Beloved sister, aunt, cousin,  and friend to many.  Faithful servant of God, and devoted member of the Searing-Roslyn United Methodist Church, Albertson, NY.   Lilia will be truly missed, and never forgotten.
