Obituary of Edeltrud Weiershauser

We honor the passing of our beautiful and loving mother and grandmother Edeltrud “Trudy” Weiershauser; also affectionately known as “Mutti”.

Born April 23, 1932, in Germany who came to the U.S. and met her husband Henry Weiershauser in Brooklyn, New York.

Mutti made a joyful life for herself and those around her.  She was rich in friends, a gourmet cook, who loved nothing more than to have friends and family around the table.  A beekeeper, an avid swimmer, skier, and gardener.  Her effervescent nature and boundless energy won her many friends and enriched the lives she touched.

On her husband’s passing in 1989, she met adversity by learning to drive the truck and successfully run the Pepperidge Farm Cookie & Cracker route with her talent for engaging people and her hard work ethic.

Although our hearts ache … our lives were enriched with your presence.  We miss you and shall hold you ever dear.
