As you know Nancy, there was a time when Bob and I were both at home recuperating from life’s curveballs. Bob would call and he made my day with his interesting and intelligent conversations. Yet what you may not realize is he always spoke of how you first met, the adventures you had together, and how much he loved you. You are so blessed to have each other. The two of you together are like kindness colliding. Two of the best people I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve had you a long time.
I’m including this picture you and Bob sent to Avagrace mounted on the rock. She has it on her nightstand and she’s 18 now. That was such a fun night I didn’t was to leave. We are always here for you my friend and may Bob have that great heartfelt laugh and smile, always loving you in spirit.

So sorry for your loss. I’ve known the Markus family for many, many years and found Bobby to be such a genuinely nice person as was the entire Family.
Rest In Peace

Some of my favorite memories growing up were at Nancy & Bob’s. I always remember hanging with their dog or just having the best time playing the piano. I realistically was smashing on the keys, but Bob always made me feel like I was an expert and encouraged me to play on anyway! I’ll never forget asking Nancy & Bob, “Would you be my Aunt & Uncle?” while they were hanging out with my parents. I always looked forward to spending a Saturday night there. Bob always inspired me to have fun and be myself. Anytime I hear Werewolves of London I’ll think of Bob and how grateful I am for all the memories he gave me growing up.

St. Ignatius Retreat House is where I met Bob, and where we shared many wonderful and hysterical memories. I got to know Chris there too. Another great guy!! We all know how Bob enjoyed music, but when he listened to and shared music with others, his spirit shone bright! Small details and subtle nuances were all appreciated. Crescendos were celebrated! That is how I feel about my friendship with Bob.
Soon, oh soon the light....

All morning I been trying to find the right words to say for someone who has always been a huge part of my and my families life. Uncle Bob, I always admired the friendship you had for my parents and the love that you showed for everyone. Parties aren’t going to be the same without the countless pictures you and Nancy would bring to show Danielle and I and the endless amount of information you knew about whatever we happened to be talking about that day (and it was always something different). May you Rest In Peace and look over us always. I love you

To my godfather: Thank you for being the very best friend to my parents. The relationship you shared with them (and the rest of the gang) is one I’ve looked up to my whole life, I truthfully can’t put into words just how incredible that bond is. What I can say is that it was always amazing to watch you all laugh together, reminisce and of course, look through all the photos from back in the day. You loved photos and whenever I saw you, you and aunt Nancy always had a stack to happily show off. Those photos will now be cherished for a lifetime. I love you and please watch over the gang, especially my dad (haha!)
