Dean Mary Dillon was the reason I was able to enter the MBA program at LIU. Every reason I gave her for why it was too late in my career for me to earn the degree was met with her insistence that I belonged in the program, and that the obstacles to my enrolling were mere illusions. She was right, and my life was changed these 25 years because of her intervention. My deepest condolences to her family, and friends. Never underestimate the good you do in life when you encourage others. The results can astound you. Heaven's gained a lot this week in welcoming Mary home. God bless you. Noreen Brittenham

After Mom passed over 20 years ago, Mary took over the role of her twin sister by looking after her 3 boys. I will never forget everything you did for us including all the wonderful memories you left for us. You will be sorely missed. Thank you for all you have done. Love you with all my heart!

Mrs Dillon was a force to reckon with! She never ceased to amaze me - running a full house and still managing to starch Kathy & Maryellen’s grade school uniform collars! Step into her home and you were ushered in with a hug and something to drink/eat. She loved to chat and find out how you were doing. How amazing when she went back to school/work at Post to make sure her kids had complete access to as much schooling as they wanted. Truly I could go on with so many memories…Mrs Dillon you will be missed dearly.
