JB was a friend and fellow card player. He was good natured and I will miss his friendly smile. I enjoyed reading his book and found him to have tremendous integrity. We lived in the same apartment building and when I rode down the elevator to the lobby, the doors opened to JB greeting me with a huge smile and open arms. It made my day! JB I can't wait to play cards with you again in heaven. It was always so much fun!

This summer I met JB for the first time and the first thing he said to me was “love and respect.” He repeated himself several times and I took that to heart. He had a big smile on his face the entire time. Later during the summer was the first time I met him in person. Such a happy man, a type of happiness that really rubs off on everyone around him. I’m very honored that I got to meet him, he gave off excitement that can be felt always and very wise words to live by.

JB brought joy to everything he was apart of, I’ll never forget the holiday parties spent with him. JB never failed to brighten everyone’s days with a funny story or just a happy presence. His life is one to be celebrated and I’ll miss him forever.

JB was such a kind and loving person, I always looked forward to seeing him at parties and get togethers because of the way just looking at him would make you smile. I will miss him so much but am glad he left so many good memories for us to remember him with.
