We share in the loss of this wonderful woman whose dedication, compassion, strength, love, and faith inspired generations of children and adults alike. We knew her as teacher, fellow parishioner, and friend. We know that she now shares in the eternal peace of the God whose Gospel she lived with abiding trust and hope. Our condolences to her family. She will be deeply missed.

Angie, my friend, of so many years. Your strength and character has always kept me in awe of you. You were always so giving -saying there is always an angel walking among us. I think that angel was you as well.

Your mom was an amazing Lady. All three of our kids were fortunate enough to have your mother as a teacher at St. Aidan. Her incredible passion for the children and her gift of teaching in and out of the classroom left an amazing impression on our kids. Our oldest son, Billy, thought your mom was the funniest teacher he ever had. Her dry humor and her ability to capture the hearts of so many in this community is such a tribute to her life and her legacy. She will be missed by all....our hearts go out to you and your family. Love The McArdle Family

For my mother, Angela Stiuso:
Monday I lost my best friend, my greatest supporter, my strength, my teacher, my travel buddy, a frequent pain in my butt, but always my rock. We shared a unique relationship of great love and often drove each other crazy. I was the only person who could drive you to blurting out your favorite 4 -letter words (even the F bomb)- a position I take great pride in and might even miss the most. You were stubborn and headstrong, but lived your life your way. No one could tell you what to do no matter how we all tried. You taught me how to be a mother while you yourself raised your children for many years alone. You taught us the meaning of strength, courage and the importance of family. As long as we stick together we can weather any storm. A lesson we now teach to our children. You were the best grandmother to our kids than anyone could have asked.for. You have a special and individual relationship with each grandchild-and now a great-grandchild that I am so happy you got to meet. I know you will be there for all our special moments as in life you refused to miss a thing and I can’t see that changing - birthdays, weddings and the birth of all your future great-grandchildren but nonetheless your stories and our memories will live on in them.
You lived your life with great love in spite of devastating tragedy and loss and always persevered. A lesson that has impacted my life the most. You were a person with undying faith and hope and a focus on the good in our world when others would have given up. Now we are all asked to do the same and we will do so in your name. I know you are not gone and will stay here in our hearts and our memories until we meet again. But don’t be surprised if you hear the echoes of my favorite 4-letter words right back at you.

Nanny was my best friend, my Instagram Live partner, my role model, and most of all my grandmother. I love her and I am so blessed to have gotten to know her for 22 years of my life.
