George was an indelible, joyful presence at Woodland Terrace, and such a caring, warm, and delightful friend to my mother, Susan. He was always in the thick of it, making friends, rallying the troops, making everyone around him smile. My family and I are so thankful to have had him in our lives, and wish you comfort and peace as you remember him.

Please accept our regrets on the lose of your Father, brother, cousin, grandfather & Great Grandfather, etc. George was blessed to have all of you in his life! There is no doubt we all have a funny story about George, He was the ultimate gentleman and friendcD58n. We only have good things to say about George. He loved his girls and could never do enough for them. I am sure all friends who went before him will open their arms when he arrives in heaven! Ready to escort him to the nearest pub and hear his laugh again! Farewell George till we meet again!

George is thought of every day. When I leave my home I drive past an intersection when he had a minor car accident after leaving my home from a 4th of July outing.
He was a great mentor for my children Hugh and Meaghan, as well as, so many others. Always a positive comment about how fortunate both he and I were for having such wonderful children.
He has been an inspiration for so many and his faith was courageous and reassured so many when they were down and out. George is well missed and has been since moving to Carolina. Local 3, Electchester and of course Filmore's will never be the same.

If anyone gets into heaven, it's Geordy Dillon. He could light up any room A true character in every sense of the word. He will be sorely missed. He was a dear friend of my late brother Tom. I can only imagine what their meeting was like at the Pearly Gates. They were like "Felix & Oscar" when they got together. George, you were in Heaven at least an hour before the devil knew you were dead! Long live the memory of George Dillon!!!
