Dear Blanca and the Marichal family, my sincere condolences. Your mother was very dear to my husband Efrain and I. She always greeted us with hugs and kisses. Juana was an awesome person. You were lucky to have her as your mother. She was truly a pleasure to be around, and one of the most beautiful person I've ever met. Laura and Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you know that your Mother will always be with you. She is the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street. She is the smell of certain food you remember, flowers you pick and perfume that she wore. She is the cool hand on your brow when you are not feeling well. She is your breath in the air on a cold winter's day, the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow, she is Christmas morning. She lives inside your laughter and crystallized in every tear drop. A mother shows every emotion, happiness, sadness, fear, jealousy, love, hate, anger, helplessness, excitement, joy, sorrow and all the while hoping and praying you will only know the good feelings in life. She is the place you came from, your first home, and the map you follow every step taken. Sad day for me, The women who assisted my mom in raising me, until I was 5 1/2 years old, passed away last night. She was like my mother, always wrote to mama long letters every month since she left us to go live in NY. Juana I know mama received you with open arms, she loved you so much, just like Pepe too, he used to call you "mi santa comadre" that always made you laugh.My only regret is I could not see you these last years, but thanks to your kids pictures were always keeping me as part of the family. Angel is at your side now, he loved you so much. Juana, I will be your little girl forever.
