Gallagher John J. of Fort Meyers Florida formerly of New Hyde Park NY On December 1, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Virginia. Loving father of Jane Longo (Paul), John Gallagher (Joy) & the late Christine. Cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild. John seved his country in the U.S. navy during WWII and was a retired Captain from the NYPD.Visitation at the Weigand Bros. FH 49 Hillside Ave Williston Park NY Sun. 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Mon. 9:45 AM at Corpus Christi Church. Interment at St. John's Cem.
