Fleming John T. Of Whitestone NY formerly of Williston Park NY On October 2, 2011. Beloved husband of Eileen Fleming. Loving father of John Fleming, Maureen Fleming & Michael Fleming. Cherished brother of Pat Jones, Jerry Fleming, Carol Palmeri, Maureen Wicelinski & Karen Catalano. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews. John touched the lives of countless children through his work as a New York City school teacher for 30 years. He also worked as a ticket-taker at Madison Square Garden & Shea Stadium for 42 years. Visitation will be held at the Weigand Bros FH 49 Hillside Ave Williston Park NY Tuesday from 2-4 PM and then from 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Aidan's R.C. Church on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cem. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation www.kidney.org or to the Monter Cancer Center at North Shore Univ. Hospital.
