Koenig, Evelyn S. (nee Schroeder) of Mineola, NY on January 13, 2013. Beloved wife of the late George. Devoted mother of Robert F. and his wife Jessica. Loving grandmother of Jonathan. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Anna Schroeder (owner of a Bakery in Williston Park) and also predeceased by her brother Fred. She was a graduate of Mineola High School, worked at Latham Lumber for over 40 years. Member of Mineola Choral Society where she met her late husband George and Longtime member of St Johns Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and was a senior choir member. She also loved reading, pets, The Mets, music and bowling. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Weigand Bros Funeral Home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral service Thursday 10 am St John's Lutheran Church (corner of Winthrop St., and Willis ave., Williston Park, NY) Interment to follow Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washiington, NY.
