Ihave such fond memories of this wonderful woman. She was a happy, peaceful presence in our neighborhood throughout my youth and beyond.
Mrs. McGowan (as all us kids respectfully called her) was a vibrant, caring woman committed to family, faith and community.
She will be missed.

I have very fond memories of Peggy, Dorothy and Dede with my mom, Eileen. I remember going to the beach house as an adult with my two boys and husband,Mike, and feeling such warmth and inclusiveness among your family. I can hear Peg's voice now as I write this. I miss, but appreciate, her down to earth manner. I will remember Peg fondly.

I also hope that you can take some comfort in knowing that your mom was a wonderful character, funny, warm, down to earth, and made an impression in my life.
Love,
Christine

Oh, what fond family memories I have of Peggy and my Mom.
Just wanted to share:
I will always remember how there was NOTHING but laughter when Peggy, Dorothy, Aunt DeeDee and my Mom got together. There was genuine love there..(and lots of singing)...that I will always keep in my heart.
We need more of it.

There are no words to fully express how much we will all miss our dear Aunt Peg - we loved her so deeply. Our memories will help us to move through the grief that we're all feeling right now. She was a joy to have in our lives and we can hear her laughter when we listen....she was a loving and treasured Aunt to me, my brothers Edward and Jeffrey and to our spouses Rudi and Dawn and boy did our children love their Auntie Peg - Austin, Ryan and Conor will truly miss the fun she brought to their lives and the "late" birthday cards too!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who loved and will miss this wonderful lady !
