Please share a memory of Janet to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ross, Janet, on the morning of December 21, 2010 the person we loved more than anyone else in the entire world, our best friend left for a better place...our loving, special, beautiful, supportive, perfect, caring, kind, welcoming, witty, fun, young spirited, inspirational, thoughtful wife and mother who always had the unique gift to make everything alright and make everyone feel loved passed away. Though she passed away on the 21st, she spent a lifetime passing on genuine heart felt generosity to all those who were lucky enough to get to know her. Her smile and touch were truly warm and gentle. She never missed a game and cheered for everyone. She always cooked dinner for us and which ever friends were at the house. Most people never knew she was one of the most winningest beauty pageant queens, including being crowned Miss New York State and runner up in Miss America because she was always more interested in listening to the successes or problems of others. She would dance to "baby got back" when she would hear it, rap along with a P. Diddy song or sing with Brittany Spears. She reminisced to Doo Wop and curled her lip and moved her pelvis with Elvis. She would scream along with Axl Rose tap her foot to Kid Rock and of course happily sing "on the road again" when we would embark on our family road trips in the van she loved. She was and always will be the best wife and mom in the world. She was and is loved by so so so many people and she loved so so so many people. Most of all, she loved us and we always have and always will love and adore her more than anything. Life will never be the same and never be as good without her...but we're thankful for being fortunate enough to have had someone who always put us ahead of herself and create the absolute best years of our life. Thanks to each and every person who said a prayer, sent a card or a present, called, stopped by, sent a text or left a message. She truly appreciated it and so do we. I love you Jan, I love you mommy, I love you ma...your three men. Visitation Monday and Tuesday 2-5 and 7-9 pm at Weigand Bros F.H. 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral service Wednesday 10am. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park
