Obituary of Deirdre C. Sheremetta

Sheremetta, Deirdre (nee Lavelle) of Carle Place, NY passed away suddenly on January 21, 2010, formerly of Selden, a native of Williston Park. Survived by sons Erich Dietz IV, Brian Dietz, John, Thomas, Christopher, and Sean Sheremetta, sisters Jane Trentadue, Kathleen Page (Kenneth), MaryLou Lavelle, Sheilah Schumann (Richard), Dolores Lupo (Joseph), Regina Wright (Geray), Carolyn Armstrong (Donald) and brothers Joseph Lavelle (Anne), and Michael Lavelle (Christine), and was a loving aunt to 26 nieces and nephews. During her illness, she remained as always a strong and courageous woman full of life, love, beauty, and laughter. Her bravery was an inspiration to all who knew her. Friends may call Saturday, 7-9pm and Sunday, 2-5 and 7-9pm at the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Ave, Williston Park. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 10am at Our Lady Of Hope R.C. Church, Carle Place. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
