Vokoun Winifred T. (nee Hempe) age 93. Died October 14, 2012 a 60+ years Mineola resident. Predeceased by beloved husband William. Cherished mother of Marilyn, Robert (Gail) Vokoun, Dorothy (Robert) Harrison. Devoted grandmother of Roger, Kevin (Geri), William (Jennifer), Daniel. Proud great-grandmother of Lucas. Adored by many nieces , nephews & friends. Formerly active in Girl Scouts, VFW 1305 Aux. , and bowling leagues. Visiting Wednesday 10/17/12 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Weigand Bros. FH, 49 Hillside Ave. near RR, Williston Park. Service Thursday 10/18/12 10 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth Queens. Donations to Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Corps, PO Box 587, Mineola, NY 11501.
