Obituary of Joseph F. Cialeo

CIALEO - Joseph F., of Westbury, NY (formerly of Old Westbury) passed away at the age of 84, with his family by his side on February 26th, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Philomena (Phyllis). He was the loving father of Joseph (Linda), Michael (Gale), Carole (deceased) and Gail (deceased). He lives on through his grandchildren Jessica, Christopher, Alexandra, Corey and Michael. Joseph also leaves behind his siblings Vicenza, Antoinette and Anthony. Mr. Cialeo was a practicing attorney for 50 years in Queens N.Y. and a long time member of the St. Anthony Society of Elmont. Although his accomplishments were endless his biggest, proudest and most significant was the selfless, unconditional love that he had for his family. Joseph was a man with great integrity, who had a generous and loving heart. He has touched the lives of so many and will be missed greatly. Visitation will be held on Saturday (February 28) and Sunday (March 1) at Weigand's Funeral Home in Williston Park (516-746-4484). Funeral Mass will be held on Monday (March 2) at St. Brigid's Church of Westbury. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Memory of Carole and Gail.
