Rose Marie Demelas
August 23,1935- December 11, 2024.
Rose Demelas passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024 at the age of 89. Rose has gone to join her husband, Bachisio Demelas, to celebrate their favorite holiday, Christmas. Rose is the loving mother of Giovanna Fitzpatrick, Donna Benvegna, Anne Rehder, Lisa Tallarico and Anthony Demelas. Rose has ten grandchildren: Maryl Gebke, Denise Fitzpatrick, Anthony Benvegna, Stefani Benvegna, Nicholas Rehder, Brian Rehdar, Celeste Tallarico Pace, Isabella Tallarico, Matthew Demelas, and Michael Demelas.  She has 4 Great Grandchildren: Conan Gebke, Alexander Gebke, Giovanni Pace and Mathilda Pace. Rose is survived by her sons-in-laws: Gerard Fitzpatrick, Steven Benvegna, William Rehder, Gennaro Tallarico and brother-in-law, Anthony Demelas. Rose and Bucky (Bachisio) lived and raised their children in Port Washington, New York. They ran their small business together. Rose worked in local banks and retail stores.
