Douglas George Pusey, devoted father to Emily and her husband Shawn, Danielle and Kevin and son of James and the late Carole Pusey, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024. Doug was a beloved brother to Gary and Sandy Pusey,, a cherished uncle to Ashley and Brendan, and a dear cousin to Andrew Blum.

Doug spent many years working as a plumber for the family business, where his dedication and craftsmanship were well known. Beyond his work, Doug will be remembered for his kind soul, always willing to lend a hand and share a smile. His gentle nature and unwavering love for his friends and family will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In honor of Doug’s memory, services will be held at Weigands Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Ave, Williston Park on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9 pm. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 420 Stewart Ave, Garden City. May he rest in peace, reunited with his mother, Carole.
