Obituary of George A. Jaronczyk Sr.

JARONCZYK- George A. Sr. passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2024 at the age of 85.  Lifelong resident of Albertson before moving to his home in Williston Park. George was an Honorary Chief and 66 year member of the Albertson H&L E&H Co. #1. He was also a proud 25 year Correction Officer with the Nassau County Sheriff’s Department, retiring in 1990. George was predeceased by his devoted and loving wife of 55 years, Jeanne in 2019. Cherished father of George A Jr. (Barbara), Sue Ann Berger (Stephan), and John (Faye). Beloved and adored Pa to Stephan Jr, George A. III, Scott, Stephanie, J.T., Matthew, Serena and Sofia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday September 13, 2024 from 4pm to 9pm at Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Avenue Williston Park, NY 11596. Firematic services to be held at 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday September 14,2024 at 9:45am at St. Aidan’s R.C. Church, Williston Park. Interment immediately following at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury NY.
