Obituary of Dennis Joseph Donelan

Dennis Joseph Donelan, age 65, of Mineola, New York, formerly of Minto, North Dakota, passed away on August 9, 2024. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (née Maass), cherished father of Hilary, Lesley, Mallory, and Molly. Dear brother of Coleen Donelan, Shawn Jones (David Sr.), Kathleen Donelan-Maher (Michael), Kelly Desautel, Mary Donelan-Fields (Craig), and Jacqueline Monaco (Eric).

Dennis is predeceased by his oldest daughter and most precious angel, Sydney, and his cherished and devoted mother, Barbara, as well as his beloved in-laws Robert and Roberta Maass and brothers-in-law Raymond Rudnik and John Desautel.

Dennis is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

Dennis loved spending time in Maine, woodworking, and relaxing by his pond. All who knew him will remember him as a hard worker with a dry sense of humor, who loved his family deeply and always put the needs of others before his own.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of Dennis' preferred charities, or one that is special to you.
