Ricky was the person we all strive to be. Generous, caring, and the matriarch of a family who loved him so deeply. He never complained about his ailments even when we all saw how much pain he was in. I loved going to his house and chatting about anything and everything because he was so knowledgeable. I will mis you Ricky.

In reflecting back over the many years we were friends I now realize how lucky I was to have been his friend and shared
so many good times with him and his family.
I (and my family) were always welcomed in his home . We shared a lot of life together both good and bad.
I am truly hurting from this loss
I wish we had more time together
Rest in Peace Rick

Never saw someone make a u turn so fast
The words "I have gnocchi at my house I forgot to bring from nanina"
That car spun around and took me back to my house so fast.
All the love to you all

We were fortunate to have moved onto the same block as Pat & Ricky back in 1976. We saw something in common and our friendship took off. Countless school recitals together, birthday parties, and weekend nights sharing many laughs at different eateries. New Years Eve dinners out, and a most memorable was a night at The East Side Comedy Club where Eddie Murphy performed. This grew bigger into family trips to Sesame St., skiing up in their townhouse (on a very sunny but cold day, we were all outside bundled up and Ricky was shivering, we looked down & he had on little leather shoes with no socks, LOL), and then Disney World always having loads of laughs. We grew so close that Pat baptized our youngest daughter Deanna. Now official, we were family.
As we both moved, (not on the same block anymore), that didn't stop us from always being together. In fact we now had a limo for those wild weekends, LOL. There are so many, many wonderful memories I could write about but I've left a taste of our wonderful friendship and years together. Ricky was one of a kind, salt of the earth as they say, a quiet humble gentleman, (until he drank with me, LOL) We will miss him tremendously. We loved him to no end. Our deepest condolences to Pat and the entire family as they navigate through this terrible loss. Rest easy our friend, Roberta & Tommy
