Obituary of Joyce Ann Borelli
Joyce Ann Borelli, age 78, died peacefully on June 21, 2024 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson, New York where she was surrounded with the love of family and friends during her final weeks of life. Joyce was born February 22, 1946, in Jackson Heights NY, to Peter and Josephine (Antillo). She was a graduate of Flushing High School and went on to work for General Motors and later in life Chase Bank. Joyce truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with friends and family, having Italian meals with loved ones, enjoying a good glass of wine and her most treasured time, her summers on fire island dating back over 40 years. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers Peter and Ronald. She is survived by her sister in-law Veronica Borelli, nieces Dawn (Robert) Glass, Lori (Scott Gallagher) Borelli and Roseann (Brian) Mozian along with their families, her nephew Peter Borelli as well as her two cousins Diane (James) McCarthy and Georgette (Christopher) Roth and their families. Joyce leaves behind numerous friends who she considered extended family from all stages of her life. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched. A memorial service will be held at Mount St. Mary’s cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing NY on Tuesday July 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the chapel. The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful care and kindness provided to Joyce in her final weeks of life.
