Obituary of Ann Marie Melia

Ann Marie Melia passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on March 11,1938 to Tomasso and Rose Callaci, living most of her life in Ridgewood, NY., where she met the love of her life, Ignatius "Sonny". They married in 1960 and raised two beautiful children. She later moved to Williston Park, NY to be closer to her family, who were her pride and joy. In her professional life, she excelled in all she did and always had the respect of her colleagues and created lasting friendships. She was the loving wife of the late Ignatius "Sonny". Her love extended to her children Jack (Alison) and Frances Vicari (David). Her five grandchildren, Stephanie, Alyssa, Julia, Anthony and Jillian will carry her legacy and joy. She was also a beloved sister, and cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Ann Marie will be profoundly missed but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
