Obituary of Frances Pagano
Following a brief illness, Frances Pagano (née Dimino) passed peacefully from this world on February 29, 2024, at the age of 95. Frances was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. She was gracious and kind to all she encountered. A talented artist, Frances gifted her family and friends with her paintings, which will continue to remind her loved ones of what a creative and special person she was. Frances most recently lived at First Colonial Inn assisted living facility in Virginia Beach, where she was an avid Bingo player, and participated in Choir and art class. From 1999 to 2021, she enjoyed living in Port St. Lucie, FL, where she was an active member of the Kings Isle community. Frances was a native New Yorker, who grew up in Brooklyn. She raised her family in Glendale and later lived in New Hyde Park. She worked for over twenty years for the New York Telephone Company. Frances was pre deceased by Peter, her loving husband of 66 years. She is survived by her adoring children, Frank (Patricia), Angela Murphy (Edward), and
Peter (Patricia). She is also survived by six grandchildren, Karen, Gregory, Peter, Elizabeth, Stephanie, and Catherine, and ten great grandchildren, Emily, Michael, Mallory, Courtney, Cameron, Claire, Isla, Sophia, Emma, and Mary Stella. Viewing will be held on March 7, 2024 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm at Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on March 8, 2024, at Saint Aidan Church, 505 Willis Avenue, Williston Park, NY, with interment at St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village.
