Ginni was an amazing woman and we were blessed to have her in our universe. Ginni was kind, generous caring and had a great sense of humor.
Ginni and John complemented one another, and they helped and cared for everyone they came in contact with. They were also very fortunate to have one another, since their love story was a fairytale and one you dream of.
The world has truly lost someone special. We will miss you Ginni, but I guess your journey now includes taking care of those in heaven. God Bless you!

I don’t even know where to begin. This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to write. Aunt Ginni was very special to me. She was more than just my aunt, she was a friend. She was someone I could always call or text to tell her about all the good things happening in my life or the bad things when I needed some advice or just someone to listen. She was always supportive no matter what the situation was. I am going to miss our early morning hello texts and late night goodnight texts. She never forgot a holiday or a birthday. She always made the boys and I feel very special and loved. Aunt Ginni was loved beyond words and will be very missed.

Sisters share a special bond that can never be broken. My sister Virginia Kinahan was a sister made in heaven and now she is there watching over all of us who loved her dearly. She was Mommy to Jennifer, Dee Dee to her grandchildren Jonfranco and Gabriella who were her pride and joy, Ginger to John and the family, godmother to Rosemary Murphy and Jerry Keating, Aunt Ginni to her nieces and nephews, Aunt GG to her Great niece Sophia, Great Aunt Ginni to Jeremiah and Ronald and Matthew and Baby Alexander and Virginia to her co~workers and we always called each other “Sister”. We had a special childhood growing up together with so many memories. We used to play “doggie on the leash” and she was always the dog until one night she banged her head on the radiator and had to get stitches. Well after I got in so much trouble no more “doggie” for us!
We were each other’s Maid of Honor and throughout our married lives we shared the good and the bad and the happy and sad.
We celebrated each other’s grandchildren and Ginger always spread her kindness and generosity. What I already have started missing is our nightly “Hi Sister how was your day” phone calls when we would gossip and laugh a lot and discuss husbands and kids and work and help each other with all of our dilemmas. Ginger and John were wonderful and amazing to our parents taking them on yearly vacations and to hundreds of fancy dinners and made sure they were enjoying life.
Ginger struggled with her health over the last few years. She never complained, always went to work ,took heartfelt care of John and always had a positive attitude saying “tomorrow will be better”,
A Sister is someone who knows everything about you and loves you anyway. I was blessed to have my Sister in my life and now she is my guardian angel in heaven. My life will never be the same without her.

Ginger was the epitome of a wonderful human being; she had a heart of gold and always showed care and concern for others, as well as being fiercely loyal. Ginger's smile and laugher lit up a room and was especially evident when she was with her sister, daughter, and grandchildren who brought her so much joy. In the words of Maya Angelou, "A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again."
With love,
Dan, Wendy, Gregory, Jake, and James

“My aunt had ears that listen, arms that hug and hold, a love that never ends, and a heart that is made of gold”- Author Unknown
My aunt was very special to everyone she met, especially me! She was a woman I admired for her love, generosity, and loyalty. For those that knew her, knows she loves her family and loved to host family get togethers, especially July 4th. She was infamous for all of her special occasion cards and scratch offs. My Aunt Ginni made sure you knew that she was only a phone call or text away…and she was! No matter what time of day or night it was, she would always answer and/or respond.
I will never forget the way she loved and supported me throughout the years. She exuded the same love and support to my newly growing family. I will always remember how she welcomed my new husband, Ruben, into the family with open arms and now my son, Alexander (who is only 6 weeks old). She loved that there was another baby in the family and was proud to be his “Great Aunt Ginni”.
Her memory and legacy will live on through all of us! I will make sure Alexander knows how special she was and will be sure to tell him all of the fun loving stories of our beautiful, Aunt Ginni!
We love you, Aunt Ginni, and you will be missed. Thank you for all of the memories!! Like my dad always said, “it’s not goodbye but ‘see you later’”
