Obituary of Michael Conte

Michael Conte Sr., an electrician, real estate investor and long-time resident of East Williston, NY Died peacefully in his home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the age of 94.

Michael is survived by his children; Marisa [Bernie], Michael Jr., Pasquale [Diana], Dominic (Christine) and Lisa [Matt]; his grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Christopher, Nicole, Cody, Stephen, Nolan, Kevin, Paige, Ciel, Mariam and Tony.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Razzano Conte, and his brother, Thomas Conte.

Michael was born in Minturno, Italy, which he loved to visit during his free time, and proudly became a citizen of the United States on July 31, 1962. Michael was an avid gardener, supplying family and friends with his fresh vegetables and beloved figs. He loved to spend time with his family and feed the birds & cats in the neighborhood.

A wake will be held at Weigands Funeral Home in Williston Park on Sunday, October 22^nd, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Funeral service is scheduled for 11:15am on Monday, October 23, 2023 at St. Aidan’s Church in Williston Park.
