Obituary of Francis Michael Connolly
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Francis (Frank)
Connolly who lost his battle to cancer on July 21 , 2023 at the age of 71. Survived by his beloved partner of more than 30 years Jill Hansen, Loving Brothers Thomas Connolly (Christine) & James Connolly. Loving Father to Brian Connolly & Sean Connolly (Stephanie). Amazing Grandpa to Liam, Aiden & Kaitlyn. Devoted Uncle to nephews Brian Von Schmid, Matthew & Kevin Connolly & Niece Kristen Connolly. Francis was predeceased by his parents Frank and Ann. He shared his love of life with his family and many friends. Francis as a family man enjoyed being a grandfather to 3 grandchildren. They each shared a special connection with him and a mutual joy and love in each other’s hearts. Francis was a selfless individual who always found the time to help others whenever needed. Francis will be profoundly missed by family, friends and loved ones, including all who knew him.

Viewing will be Weigand Brothers Inc. Funeral home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY 11596 Sunday July 30th, 2-4 pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral will be at St. Aidan church 505 Willis Ave, Williston Park, NY 11596 on Monday July 31, at 10 am. Interment Queen of Peace Cemetery.
