Obituary of John J. Vallely Sr.

John was born on August 20, 1944 in Queens, NY to John and Catherine Vallely. He grew up in Hollis, Queens. John was married to Barbara Jensen Vallely on July 2, 1967 and they spent more than 50 loving years together before Barbara predeceased him in August 2021. They had 5 children together: Susan Goodwin (Kevin), Barbara Lorenzo (Michael), David Vallely (Tricia), Sandi Vallely and John J. Vallely Jr., who died in January 2023. John loved his 8 grandchildren very much. They are Kevin Goodwin (Maura), Ryan Goodwin, Liam Clifford, Aidan Clifford, Dylan Vallely, Michael Lorenzo, Lila Valley and Jensen Vallely. John loved to laugh, tell a good story and travel with his wife Barbara. We are comforted that he is at peace in the loving arms of his Barbara again.
