Margaret K. Quinn

Peggy was the youngest of 3 Dunleavy children, whose parents were from Ireland.  She was born and raised in the Bronx and became a long-time resident of Mineola.  She was married to Edward for 40 years before he passed away.  She owned Peggy’s Ceramic Workshop on Jericho Turnpike in Mineola and worked for the NYS Supreme Court in Mineola.  Among her many talents, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, painting, creating and teaching in her ceramic classes.  She also enjoyed cooking alongside Eddie, sharing their culinary creations with the family.  Her hobbies included playing and watching golf, horse racing and an occasional visit to Las Vegas and Atlantic City.  She cherished the time she spent with her nieces and nephews and their children, and always greeted everyone with a warm and calming smile.

She was devoted to her faith and helping others in need.  Her favorite charities are St. Jude’s and Island Harvest.  Please consider a donation to her charities in lieu of flowers.
