Obituary of Anthony R. Costa

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Costa, who peacefully departed from this world on April 26, 2023 at the age of 84.

Tony was born on June 10, 1939 in Bayside, Queens to Anthony and Mae Costa. He grew up in Flushing Queens and attended Bayside High School.  Tony was a man of many talents and passions. He loved golf, cars, carpentry, building, playing cards and spend time with his family and friends.

Tony achieved many great accomplishments throughout his life. He was a first generation business owner, opening a auto repair shop with his brother at a young age, and an avid golfer. Beyond his professional achievements, Tony was a kind, generous, funny and compassionate person. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone he met. He was a devoted family man and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tony is survived by his wife Lynn Costa, his four sons, and twelve grandkids. His passing is a great loss to all who knew them, but his legacy will live on through the memories he has left behind.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 ,10am at St Aidan's RC Church. All who knew Tony are welcome to attend and pay their respects. Rest in peace, Tony. You will be dearly missed.
