Obituary of Alice Nunes Pinho

Alice Pinho, 94, passed away on March 15, 2023. She was a beautiful person with an infectious personality who will be missed and remembered by many.

She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut but later moved to Danbury, where she met her husband Francisco (Frank) when she was singing at the Portuguese Club. They raised their family in Mineola and Merrick, N.Y. until they retired in Florida, where Alice enjoyed cooking and baking. She was dedicated to Frank during their 52 years of marriage, especially while supporting him with significant health issues and was with him when he passed away in December of 2000.

Alice is survived by her daughter Elizabeth, her son in law Acacio and her son Frank. She was very proud to have 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
