Obituary of Ronald J. Pugliese

Ronald "Ronnie" Pugliese, 85 passed away at home after a long illness on March 11, 2023. Ronnie was born in Manhattan, NY on July 21, 1937. As a young child his family moved to Mineola, New York where they lived on White Road for many years. He attended Corpus Christi Elementary School and later graduated from Mineola High School in 1955. There, Ronnie met the love of his life and high school sweetheart Barbara (nee Menichino). They were married in 1959. Barbara predeceased him in 2003.

Ronnie leaves behind two daughters and one son: Theresa (John), Jeannine (Chris), Charles (Luscia, predeceased); six grandchildren: Charles (Alyse), Jenna (Mike), Jennifer, Kate (Laurence), Gracie, and Matthew; and, three great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Sydney, and Wyatt; a brother, Thomas who predeceased him; two sisters-in-law: Brenda (Bob, predeceased) and Lorraine (Andy, predeceased); along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ronnie was an avid golfer and bowler. He enjoyed a game of poker with friends and was known to shoot a good game of pool. He loved spending time with family and friends.

Ronnie was charming, astute, opinionated (especially when it came to food), a humorous man, and was loved by all. We know that you are in heaven with Mom and the rest of your family enjoying a great meal!!
