Obituary of Josephine Anselmo

Please share a memory of Josephine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Josephine Anselmo passed away early morning at 94 years on  January 10th 2023, in her home with her daughter Marie and son in law Terry by her side. Following a lengthy battle with dementia that she fought until the end.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Marie and son in law Terry, Ellen, Christopher and daughter in law Cathy and Frank. Along with her 9 grandchildren she cherished. And 3 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her doting husband Christopher Anselmo.

She was proud of her Brooklyn upbringing. She will always be remembered for compassion, giving her time to others, her strength and big personality.

Being a grandmother was a role she was proud of. She was loyal to the ones she loved and had a heart of gold. She spent most of her time in the kitchen (never complained) and loved cooking feasts for her family. She had a great sense of humor and being in her presence you were smiling or laughing. She loved her family and instilled good values and traditions in her children and grandchildren.

Please join us in celebrating her life.
