Obituary of Victoria Ann Dennis

Dennis Victoria Ann, On February 5, 2014, loving mother of Nathan and Simon, and wife of Brian Lehrer, passed away. Vicki was a remarkable woman who cared deeply about and for people-as a social worker, engaged citizen, activist, friend, neighbor, and family member. She was a leader in the Spark program for substance abuse prevention in the New York City High Schools, a PTA president, volunteer at the Food Bank for New York City. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is also survived by her siblings Donovan, Karen, Raymond and George, and their families; in-laws Ruth and Arthur, Warren and Judith; her extended family and many dear friends. Visitation will be take place at the Weigand Bros. F.H. 49 Hillside Ave. Williston Park N.Y. Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM. Funeral Service Monday 10 AM at the funeral Home. Interment to follow at Cypress Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers send donations to the Food Bank for New York City.
