Angelina Theresa Benevento Obituary

Angelina T. Benevento (Calisto) passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2022 surrounded by loved ones in Williston Park, NY. She was born in Long Island City in 1925 and spent her first 75 years there. Angelina has always been deeply loved by her family, her ever generous and kind nature was a wonderful complement to her funny and playful personality. Beautiful on the inside and out, Angelina loved to be fashionable and was an excellent seamstress, making many of her own clothes in her youth. She devoted 50 years to Zyloware Corp where she was an adored supervisor. Most notably, she and her beloved late husband, Robert N. Benevento, fell in love, raised their daughters and poured so much love into their family, it continues to overflow into each generation. Angelina and Robert shared a love so incredibly strong, it remains an inspiration to others. Angelina and Robert were treasured members of their family and community. They loved to spend time with their family, go to church, dance, and prepare and enjoy delicious meals with their family. Angelina and Robert relocated to the Albertson and Williston Park area to live with their daughters and sons-in-law before he passed in 2000. After 22 years apart, we believe they are reunited and embracing once again in heaven. Angelina is survived by her 2 daughters and sons-in-law, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Burial at Holy Rood Cemetery will take place at 10am on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
