Obituary of Julia C. Scanlon

Julia Scanlon, 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. 

Julia spent a remarkable 79 years married to her loving husband Alfred, who survives Julia and will dearly miss her smile, her quick wit and the countless moments and desserts they enjoyed together. 

Julia is also survived by her son Dennis and daughter Kathryn; daughters-in-law Nora and Eileen and son-in-law Stephen; grandchildren Thomas, Daniel, Donna, Jenna, Laura, Kristin and Michael; and great grandchildren Katie, Ella, Helena, Calvin and Rudy. Julia was preceded in death by her son Thomas, brother John and sister Grace.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/), which Julia supported throughout her life. They also request you have an oatmeal raisin cookie in her honor.

Julia will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
