Obituary of Estela M. Tabora

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Estela M Tabora . Estela passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 6, 2022, at the age of 86. Estela was a devoted mother of Susana (Paul Sanchez); and cherished grandmother of Matthew, Lucas, James (Sanchez), Lizza, Daniel and Ana  (Chavez).  Estela was predeceased by her first-born daughter Dora Elizabeth (Jose Roberto Chavez). Estela was born in Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras where she grew up and studied to become a registered nurse. She immigrated to the US, at the age of 40, in search for a better life. She worked as a domestic worker in Miami for a few years. She later moved to and settled in Port Washington in 1987 with her youngest daughter Susana.  Here she continued to work hard to create a new life for herself and provide innumerous opportunities and possibilities for her daughter. 

Estela will be missed
