Obituary of Robert J. Miceli

Bob Miceli passed away peacefully on Thursday July 28, 2022 at the age of 76. He was born on June 24, 1946 in Flushing, NY to the late May (Townsend) and Dr. Peter Miceli. He grew up in East Williston and graduated from Wheatley. A lover of history, Bob majored in American Studies at UPenn and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1968. Later he went on to get a MBA from Adelphi and in the 1980’s he opened Alden Graphics. He always had an entrepreneurial spirit and was still involved with his printing company up until his illness. He married Evelyn Marienberg in 1993 and together they raised a daughter, Lauren. He was a movie buff, avid photographer and enjoyed boating in the summertime. More than anything he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughter, Lauren, son-in-law, Christian, Evelyn, siblings Joyce, Peter, and Carole (Hank) and his nieces and nephews as well. He will be missed dearly.
