Obituary of Kathleen Kelly

Kelly - Kathleen, passed away May 1, 2022 (age 84). Born February 19, 1938 in Queens, NY. Predeceased by her husband of 59 years Thomas Kelly, father John Moorehead; mother Elizabeth (Muirhead) Moorehead; and brother James Moorehead. Survived by children Patricia Kelly, Eileen (Kelly) Brett, and Thomas Kelly; grandchildren Michael Lennon, Maryann Lennon, Joanna Lennon, Kelly Brett, Molly Brett, Aidan Kelly, Megan Kelly, and Liam Kelly; nephews Patrick Kelly and John Kelly. Kathleen was a dedicated mother and devoted wife. Kathleen adored her grandchildren and loved to boast of their accomplishments. Kathleen spent much of her Bookkeeping career with Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. Kathleen was passionate about her work and loved the library, reading books and the newspaper.  Visitation was held from 8:30-9:30AM Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home on Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral Mass followed at 9:45 AM at St. Aidan's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org. Interment is at Holy Rood Cemetery.
