Obituary of Susan K. Loughlin

Susan K. Loughlin (nee Ryer) of Mineola passed away on March 15th of 2022 at the age of 53. She was born on March 26th 1968. Susan was the daughter of the late Carleton and the late Patricia (Tommasino) Ryer. 

Susan graduated from Adelphi University with a Degree in Nursing. She then went on to work as a Certified Oncology Nurse at Winthrop University Hospital for 32 years where she developed many lasting relationships. 

Susan loved nothing more than watching her two sons Ryan and Kevin compete in sports. She was an avid Mets fan for all of her 53 years and considered Mr. Met her son. Her love for the Mets did not stop her from exploring other baseball teams as some of her favorite vacations were road trips with her family across thecountry to other MLB ballparks.

Susan was survived by her husband Michael, sons Ryan and Kevin, brother Thomas (Barbara) Ryer, Uncle Phil (Linda) Tommasino, cousins: Diane (Steve) Bill and Rachel Tommasino, Budd (Betsy) Ryer, Ed (Patty) Ryan, Mike (Candice) Ryan, Patty Wallace, Billy (Shirley) Ryan,  Mother-in-Law Rosemary Loughlin, brothers and sisters in Law: Andrew (Tricia), Catherine (John), James (Louise) and Richard, nieces and nephews: Timothy, Lauren R., Lauren S., Katie, Aidan, Sarah and Andrew.
