Listening to your CD Find A Way and remembering all of the great times that we had the opportunity to hear you perform at the Guitar Club. May your spirit shine bright and your music live on in those who were lucky enough to know you.

Jeff was a wonderful person to all he met. He was always upbeat, happy, and thankful for all God has given us .. the beauty of our earth, his gift being a wonderful guitarist. He is at peace and his memories keep him alive forever!
Sorry for your loss; his loss is felt by so many people his life touched.

I first met Jeff 47 years ago when he stopped at a gas station in Virginia on his way home to N.Y. from Ga. After a brief conversation and exchange of information Jeff decided to return to Va. on Jan 1st 1975 in his van with Quin, Lorraine and John, which was the beginning of a long memorable adventure of friendship and friends. We always talked about our first adventure of riding horses bareback and how sore he was after. I will always be thankful for our time together. We always made sure to talk on Jan. 1st each year as we did the last time Jan. 2022. I'm so grateful for his friendship and all the many friends I have made thru Jeff. Rest In Peace My Friend.

It was by accident i came across a video of Jeff performing “Rebirth” in Hawaii. After watching and listening three times i was mesmerized and thought it was a masterpiece and sent him a note telling him so. I started as a huge fan and then into a friend.
I will miss you dearly. Reading the outpouring of love and sadness from family, friends and fans tells me I'm not alone in feeling this way. A tremendous talent with a tremendous heart. Your zest for a fun life was contagious to all. I only had six months knowing you…i wish it were 20 years. Heaven has been gifted an incredible person and musician and im positive if we close our eyes and listen in silence we will hear the strumming of your guitar coming down to us from heaven. I will never forget you.

I first met Jeff in the mountains of Missouri at the 1985 Rainbow Gathering (still looking for those photos!). We camped next to each other. He was playing his guitar and I quickly joined him on flute. It turned out we both hailed from Long Island and we became fast friends. Over the years we jammed together at many of his house parties and in my studio and I played on two of his beautiful records. Jeff also had an incredible memory for dates and times and would always amaze me at his recall of details of times together from decades past. Jeff was a special soul with a heart of gold who was always willing to give of himself to others. My deepest condolences to his family. I will miss you Jeff!

Jeff was my brother and fourteen years my senior. When we moved to Florida from New York, I would see him once or twice a year. I remember his blue conversion van with the roof bubble as a kid. I thought it was SO cool!
Jeff was a gifted musician. One of my fondest memories was when he played guitar at our rehearsal dinner in 2004. It meant so much to all of us to have him be a part of our wedding. I know it meant a lot to him, too.
When I was a teenager, Def Leppard's Pyromania was one of my favorite albums. Jeff bought me a limited edition book, and I poured through it - memorizing it from front to back. He was a huge Led Zeppelin fan, and I remember him playing the entry to Stairway to Heaven when I was a child. It took my dad a minute to understand his love of music, but ultimately dad did and got to enjoy Jeff's acoustic guitar from his first album. This photo was taken in the mid-eighties when he worked at The Music Paper.
We got to see Jeff this summer in Maine, and I am so thankful for that. He never failed to inject his sense of humor - and did so when taking family photos on the dock.
I will miss you, Jeff. You were one of the good ones with a heart of gold who would do anything for the people you loved.

Since our 1st guitar jam way back in 1973, the joys of our music-making road trip adventures will never be forgotten. Jeff’s influence on my life was enormous – not only from a musical perspective, but socially as well. It was Jeff who always pushed the envelope; meeting new people, going new places, and I went along for the ride. During my life, some of the deepest and most enduring friendships have been made, all due to Jeff’s willingness to simply introduce himself with ‘Hey – we’re not from around here – ya wanna listen to some music?’ Well, my friend, I’m sure the trend continues wherever your adventures bring you. You are deeply missed!
P.S. The photo is from our last road trip to Virginia back in 2015 to see some of the aforementioned friends.
