Awww... I've been thinking of my Uncle Dom, my Godfather, as I always do and my reminiscing lead me here. All that I can say is, "I love you Uncle Dominick!" I left New York for greener pastures not long after you left us and I'm now living in El Paso, Texas which I can only describe as the Staten Island of Texas. Everyone knows that it's there, but nobody wished that it was... Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas!

37 years ago as an 9 year old kid my mother would send me down to ardittos Italian deli to pick up 2 jars of sauce and a loaf of Italian bread. The 5 block walk took me past a shop that had one of the best gum bowl machines I've ever scene. This machine just so happened to be inside Forestos Tuxedo shop, and I had to go in. The gentleman (Dominic) inside couldn't have been nicer, and would often take change out of his own pocket to make sure I got one of those gum balls. I would make it a daily routine just stop in. Sometimes just to hang out and chat with Dominic and the crew. He was a great family man and friend to all. Although he's gone too soon and not the only man in heaven, but he is certainly the best dressed. My deepest condolences to his entire family.

Cathy and I fortunate to meet Dominic and Paula about 35 years ago. Our times together from boating to dinners were always great. Even though we were not in each other’s life on a daily basis. Every time we were in both of your company was like seeing
You yesterday. A smile a warm embrace, a caring how are you guys doing. The energy that surrounded Dominic and was contagious to all who saw him in action.
Your Friends
Joey & Cathy McVeigh
PS
DOM Iknow your in heaven for sure. If i make it there please save a seat for me so we can have lunch again

I am so terribly saddened to hear of Mr. Foresto's passing. He was like a father to me during high school when I lost my own Dad. He always welcomed me into his home, and would hug me and say "Anything you need, just ask Dom." He was kind, generous, and an amazing role model for every young person who came into contact with him. I know how much he meant to Paula, Lisa, Chris, and their entire family. Dom was one of a kind. May he rest in peace. I pray that the Foresto family can find comfort in all of the wonderful memories they have of and with Dom. Love you guys.

Dominick became such an amazing friend to me over the past 10 years or so. I am so saddened by his passing. I can’t stop thinking of him…he was one of those men that they don’t make anymore. To me he was more then a man or friend…he had become a father figure and called me on several occasions during the height of the pandemic the days after picking up food at my restaurant. He would express his concern for me working too much and told me to spend more time with my family. He always had good advice for me. He once told me the best thing I could do for my children was give them an education debit free. The wisdom this man had was incredible. He will be in my thoughts forever and until the day we meet again. We love the entire Foresto family and want them to know that we will always be here for them.

We are so, so sad that Dominick has passed. We all raised our families while living on Noel Lane and shared many happy memories.. One of my favorites is when Tom found a dead animal in our pool filter and called Dominick for help . Then he and Christopher ( about 6 years old) ran over. The smell was horrible. Chris ran home and got Paula’s Chanel #5 and sprayed it all over! Oh boy, when we realized it we all couldn’t help but laugh our heads off!
Dominick was always a good friend and neighbor. He was always there if you needed him , was good natured and a had a good sense of humor. We are fortunate to have our memories.
Our most sincere condolences to Paula, Chris , Lisa and their families.
