I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a wonderful woman with the kindest heart. I will always remember your mom’s smile, her singing (especially in church), the love she had for your dad, and the devotion to all of you. Truly a beautiful soul. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

We are all greatly saddened by the news of Aunt Rose’s passing. She will never be forgotten.
I’ll always remember her angelic voice, her endless optimism and cheerfulness.
The Thanksgiving dinners she and Uncle Bill had each year were eagerly anticipated by those of us at the children’s table. Getting the next generation together was a family event that strengthened our family bond. Plus the turkey and lasagna were always delicious!
We’d see the Williston Farrar’s every Independence Day in Peconic. It was so pleasant to extend our Currie family unit with such a loving family for a week. I miss those days.
We must all focus on Rose Marie’s wonderful life. She was loved by all who were privileged to know her. She left behind four exceptional children. She and Uncle Bill were exemplary parents.
Now it’s time for her to rest peacefully and to move on to her eternal reward.

When I first met Aunt Roe I guess I was about 7/ 8 years old. She was so glamorous and beautiful. She wore eye makeup, lipstick, jewelry and I was mesmerized. On her wedding day, we were treated to her lovely voice, when she sang the song Always, to her beloved husband Bill.
Aunt Roe was so much more than her physical beauty and vocal talent. Her unwavering faith sustained her throughout her life. She was an example of kindness and joy for all that met her. Her spirit was undeniable and we were blessed to have her in our lives.
I am sad that Aunt Roe left us but I am happy she is finally with Uncle Bill.
Rest in Peace my dear Aunt Roe and I'll be loving you Always.

Thanks Jane and Anne. Whenever the great movie "The Pride of The Yankees" with Gary Cooper playing Lou Gehrig would come on (usually Channel 11 or maybe Channel 5), and that song would be sung, my mother would tell us "that's the song I sang to your father at our wedding". Great movie and great song.

Will always remember Aunt Rosemarie singing to Uncle Bill “I’ll be loving you always, with a love that’s true always, not for just an hour, not for just a day, not for just a year but always”(Irving Belin)
