Obituary of Thomas Kelly

Thomas (Tom) Kelly Passed away July 22, 2021 (age 90). Born August 12, 1930 in Sugarhill, Templeglantine, County Limerick. Predeceased by his father Pat Kelly, mother Kate (Woulfe) Kelly; brothers Patrick, William and Jack; sister (Sister Nora). Survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathleen Kelly (Moorhead)); children, Patricia Kelly, Eileen (Kelly) Brett, Thomas Kelly; grandchildren, Michael Lennon, Maryann Lennon, Joanna Lennon, Kelly Brett, Molly Brett, Aidan Kelly, Megan Kelly, Liam Kelly; nephews, Patrick Kelly, John Kelly. Tom was a dedicated father and devoted husband. Tom spent many of his working years at Woolworth and AT&T as Watchman Engineer. Tom was an avid Met’s fan and spent many nights listening to games on the radio. 

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 Saturday July 24, 2021 at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home on Hillside Ave Williston Park, NY.  Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Aidan’s Catholic Church. Intern In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  www.alz.org .  Internment is at Holy Rood Cemetery.
