Obituary of MaryRose Colleluori

Please share a memory of MaryRose to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

MaryRose Colleluori (nee DeRosa) passed away on July 5, 2021. While she battled the disease Scleroderma for over 25 years, she never let her illness come before her own kindness to others. She will long be remembered for her selflessness and her love for family and friends.

Formerly of Valley Stream and Syosset, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Mary DeRosa and neice of the late Rose DeRosa.

MaryRose is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 36 years, Anthony; her son Salvatore and his wife Rachel; and her son Frank and his partner Javier.

The family will receive friends at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, NY on Thursday, July 8th from 7pm-9pm and Friday, July 9th, from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for MaryRose on Saturday, July 10 at 11am at
Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 690 Woodbury Rd, Woodbury, NY.
Following the service, immediate internment will take place at St Charles/Resurrection Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made in the name of MaryRose Colleluori to The Lions Clubs International Foundation (lionsclub.org) or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
