Obituary of Colin F. Dorney

Colin Dorney, of Williston Park passed away June 16th, 2021 after a battle with cancer.

He was born and raised in Brooklyn, was a graduate of Brooklyn Tech High School and SUNY Maritime, and later attained a law degree from St. John’s University. 

 

Colin was a member of the Holy Name Society and an active volunteer at St. Aidan’s Church in Williston Park.

 

He is survived by children James and Mary, siblings Christopher, Brian, Regina, and Kevin, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will take place from 3:00-8:00PM on Monday, June 21st, at Weigand Brothers in Williston Park. A Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, June 22nd at 11:15AM in St. Aidan’s Church.
