Obituary of Ruth M. Walker

Ruth Walker (nee Weigel), daughter of the late Hans Weigel and Mildred Pallozzi Weigel, passed away peacefully in New York City on May 11, 2021. Through her professional work and community service, Ruth had a lifelong commitment to helping other people. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter Kim. She is survived by her son Chris Walker (Dilara), grandsons Talis and Sandis; her siblings William Weigel (Carole) and Eric Weigel (Joanne). Ruth was predeceased by her sisters, Anita Howard, Elizabeth Weigel, and Barbara Weigel. She was a special person who enjoyed being with her family and friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 11am-1230pm. A separate memorial service will be held at a later date with additional information to come. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kim Walker Memorial Fund, Grace Church School, 86 Fourth Avenue, New York, NY 10003.
